Care of the performing artist
Performing artists rely on their voices as essential tools of their profession. Whether you are a singer, actor, public speaker, or other vocal professional, your performance demands physical and emotional resilience. I provide a variety of support services and treatments to restore your voice and help you maintain optimal vocal health.

What the clinic can help with?
Vocal strain and fatigue often manifest as the voice “giving out” during a performance, leading to breaks in vocal quality, a loss of power, and the need to exert extra effort to produce sound
Loss of vocal range or power: Singers may occasionally find it challenging to access certain parts of their vocal range, especially their head voice and falsetto. They might also experience a loss of vocal power, making it difficult to project their voice effectively or perform belting with ease.
Hoarseness and breathy voice: Vocal hoarseness and breathy voice refer to a change in the quality of the voice. This can occur on a short-term basis or be more long-lasting. It can also impact your conversational voice, singing voice or both.
Laryngitis and recovery from illness: We all get laryngitis from time to time but in some cases, the impact on the voice can be long-lasting. Other respiratory illnesses, particularly those that involve coughing, can also result in changes to the voice that persist once the initial illness settles.
Voice and vocal cord check-up ahead of touring: This assessment helps identify any potential issues, such as strain or inflammation, and provides tailored advice to maintain vocal stamina throughout the demanding schedule of a tour. By addressing concerns early, you can safeguard your voice and perform at your best.
Recurrent respiratory infections affecting the voice. Recurrent infections in the throat can have a big impact on performers. Not only can it alter vocal quality and stamina but it can also disrupt critical parts of your schedule.
